 The municipality The municipality of Klaksvík is the second largest in the Faroe Islands with around 4.900 citizens. The municipality spans over two islands and has one town and four villages. The municipality is represented on the island of Bordoyginn by the town of Klaksvík and the villages of Árnafjørdur and Ànir, and on the island of Kalsoyginn by the villages of Mikladalur and Trøllanes.
